Le Caveau

Wine Worth Discovering.

A neighborhood wine shop in East Dallas, thoughtfully selecting wines from around the world.

About Le Caveau

A good bottle starts with good people.

Le Caveau — French for “the cellar” — is a small, specialized wine shop in the White Rock Center, built around one simple idea: wine is about food and friends.

Every bottle on the shelf has been tasted and evaluated for quality at its price point — whether it’s a $10 weeknight pour or a bottle you’ve been saving for something special. The selection leans French, Italian and Spanish, with a carefully chosen handful from California, Oregon and Washington.

Tell us what’s for dinner, or what you feel like drinking on the back porch, and we’ll help you find the right bottle. No wine snobbery. Just good talk and good wine.

Open six days a week — closed Mondays, because even a caveau needs a day off.

Food + Wine

What’s for dinner?

Tell us the menu and we’ll match the bottle. Or start here — a few honest pairings we stand behind.

Steak

A bold red with some backbone — a Rhône blend or a Ribera del Duero that can stand up to the grill.

Pasta

Tomato sauce wants a sunny Italian red; something creamy wants a white with some body. We’ll sort it out together.

Seafood

Crisp, saline and bright — Muscadet, Albariño, a coastal white that tastes like the shore it came from.

Cheese

The classic pairing. Bring your board, or let us build one — from-epochs Brie with Champagne never misses.

Pizza

Friday-night wine: a juicy, chillable red or a frothy orange. Low ceremony, high reward.

Just a Glass

Sometimes it’s not about the food. A good bottle and the back porch will do the rest.

Tastings + Events

Come have a glass with us.

We pour at the shop most weekends — come taste, ask questions, meet your neighbors. Everyone’s welcome, from first-timers to devoted regulars.

Our Story

More than a wine shop.

The best part of Le Caveau was never the bottles — it’s the people who drink them. Neighbors who came in for one bottle ten years ago and now host tastings of their own. Couples picking out wine for their first dinner party. Regulars who text us a photo of the label from a restaurant and ask, “can you find this?”

We know our regulars’ tables, their budgets, and the bottle that changed their mind about Riesling. That’s the job: matching the right bottle to the right moment, one person at a time.

Whether you know exactly what you want or you don’t know where to start, you’ll get the same thing here — a warm welcome and an honest answer.
