Our Story — 米丫
MiYa means
“little rice girl”
MiYa Chinese was founded by visionary David Romano alongside a family of Chinese immigrants — a partnership built on one shared belief: that Chinese food deserves to be both authentic and elevated.
Our name, 米丫, means “little rice girl” — a nod to the warmth of a family kitchen. Step inside and you’ll find a modern, clean dining room, warm hospitality, and food made the long way: dumplings folded by hand, noodles pulled by hand, stocks started from scratch.
Whether it’s a first date, a family table for ten, or a Friday night order on the couch — you’re eating with us now.
