Case Study — 03
A roofing and exteriors company that lived on word of mouth. We built the trust-first website and quote funnel that wins the estimate before the first phone call.
Roofing is one of the highest-trust purchases a homeowner makes, and one of the most expensive. Summit's reputation was strong among people who had used them — but homeowners comparing contractors online had no way to see that. The company was invisible at exactly the moment decisions were made.
Worse, the few inquiries that did arrive were unqualified and hard to schedule around. Summit needed a presence that built trust at a distance and turned it into booked estimates.
Homeowners shortlist two or three roofers from search results, then call. We built the site to win that shortlist: proof of work up front, services and service areas stated plainly, and credibility signals — licensing, warranty, real project photos — exactly where a hesitant homeowner looks for them.
The quote request was redesigned as a low-friction funnel: a few clear questions, an honest promise about response time, and a follow-up path the office can actually keep.
The design language is deliberately substantial: strong type, grounded color, and photography of real crews and real roofs. Nothing about it tries to be clever — it tries to be credible. For a roofing company, dependability is the aesthetic.
Every page leads with a next step. On mobile — where most storm-season traffic lands — the quote button is always within a thumb's reach, and load times were treated as a trust issue, not a metric.
The site is fast, resilient, and simple to maintain: service pages structured for local search, a quote funnel that routes straight to the office, and a content structure the team can update when services or service areas change.
Analytics were wired to the questions that matter — where inquiries come from, which services they ask about — so the business can invest its marketing time with evidence instead of guesswork.
Summit now has what it always earned in person, online: a first impression that says established, insured, and worth calling. The website does the qualifying before the office picks up, and the quote funnel turns urgency-driven traffic into scheduled estimates.
The foundation is set for the next stage — more service areas, more proof, more seasons — without the site ever needing to be rebuilt to keep up.
